Onsarigo Reveals Raila’s Secret Plan With President Ruto Before 2027 Elections

Former Azimio Coalition Press Secretary, Dennis Onsarigo, has made a surprising claim about Raila Odinga’s political plans before the 2027 elections.

He said that the late Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader did not plan to run for president again, even though many people thought he would.

Onsarigo explained that Raila had already decided to take a different path in politics.

According to him, Raila wanted to support a political group that was focused on developing the country instead of chasing personal power.

He said Raila had reached a point in life where he wanted to give back to the people who had supported him for many years, especially those from his community who had made big sacrifices in politics.

He added that the decisions Raila made, including some of the appointments in government, showed that he was more focused on unity and progress.

Onsarigo mentioned names like Hassan Joho, Opiyo Wandayi, and John Mbadi, who were given important positions in the current administration.

He said these appointments were part of Raila’s plan to strengthen cooperation rather than rivalry.

Onsarigo also said Raila had changed his political style and had become calmer.

He believed that if Raila were still alive, he would have continued working with President William Ruto until the end of the current term.

In his view, Raila had moved past the idea of contesting again and was more interested in helping the government achieve its goals.

Earlier, Raila had told ODM members that no official decision had been made about who would run for president in 2027.

He made it clear that ODM would continue to cooperate with Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government until the agreed period ends.
