Former Mukurweini Member of Parliament Kabando wa Kabando has said that the united opposition badly needs to win in 2027.
According to Kabando, only by removing President William Ruto from office will Kenyans secure better leadership, accountability, integrity, and full implementation of the Constitution.
He expressed confidence in the opposition’s chances, saying the team’s composition, with leaders such as Rigathi Gachagua and Kalonzo Musyoka, makes it strong and competitive.
Kabando urged Kenyans to be careful when voting in the next election, advising them to choose capable leaders rather than popular ones.
“The revolution at the ballot should this time be refreshing, radical, and rewarding. Seek merit, courage, and brilliance,” he said, adding that many voters often elect leaders based on fame rather than competence.
He says it is only through fresh leadership that Kenya can catch up with her peers, including Singapore, which have zero tolerance to graft.
