He says Kalonzo is messing himself by working with DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua, because their union is undoing his profile as a decent politician.
"Unlike Gachagua, Kalonzo has always chosen diplomacy. But today, he looks like a good man trapped in bad company."
"His credibility is at risk. His measured politics is being drowned by Gachagua’s toxic theatrics," the former Thirdway Alliance Secretary General says in an opinion piece in The Star.
He has urged Kalonzo to emulate former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i, whom he claims realised Gachagua's flaws earlier and left.

Who and why is anybody who has been in Kenya since 2022 says Gachagua is toxic; who is advising Kalonzo to abandon Gachagua? This can only be an enemy of the people hankering for liberty from Ruto's style of leadership. And yes, the analyst must check his facts; Oparanya is not a third force alliance politician.
