The woman, identified as Jane Wanjiru, was reportedly killed, and her body was dumped in a public area, leaving many Kenyans demanding justice.
According to reports, Wanjiru’s lifeless body was found around the Delamare area in Naivasha under unclear circumstances.
Betty Muchina said that Jane Wanjiru, who came from Munyaka in Kinangop and worked in Naivasha, was found dead and dumped in the Delamare area.
She explained that Wanjiru had been brutally murdered and called on authorities to act quickly to bring those responsible to justice.
She added that no woman deserved such a fate and urged Kenyans to push for justice for Jane and an end to femicide.
Her tragic death shocked many who knew her as a hard-working woman running a small business in Naivasha.
Wanjiru’s viral selfie, shared widely online, showed her sitting inside a shop that sold electronic accessories such as smartphones, chargers, and earphones.
The photo, which captured her neat hairstyle, black leather jacket, and orange top, painted the image of a cheerful and stylish young entrepreneur.
Behind her were shelves packed with phone cases and other tech items neatly displayed for sale.
Kenyans have continued to express their sorrow and outrage over her death, urging authorities to act fast and bring those behind the brutal act to justice.
Many have called for stronger measures to end the rising cases of violence against women across the country.
