This has prompted social media influencer and Kileleshwa member of county assembly Robert Alai to suggest the name of the next acting party leader.
Taking to his official Facebook account the blogger turned MCA dismissed all other possible candidates and the proposed Oburu Odinga as the acting ODM leader.
The statement comes as many Kenyans are asking themselves on the way forward for the ODM party since the Former Prime Minister had not pointed out on who will replace him.
However, this discussion is said to light up debate on who qualifies to wear Raila's political shoes and continue the spirit of freedom fighting.
"The acting party leader now that Odinga is resting is Oburu. Don't listen to the people who are still in political adolescence" the MCA posted.
Raila's takeover has been the subject of debate as many have been fronting different names to succeed the the ODM party leader
