Political analyst Herman Manyora has issued a strong prediction just hours after the burial of the late Raila Amolo Odinga in Bondo, saying some of Raila’s allies serving in President Ruto’s broad-based government may soon lose their positions.
Speaking on today evening, Manyora warned that Cabinet Secretaries and top officials aligned to Raila could be the first casualties as Ruto begins reshaping his government ahead of the 2027 general election.

According to the analyst, President Ruto is likely to replace the officials with more politically influential leaders who can help him consolidate support and strengthen his chances in 2027.
Manyora’s remarks come at a time when political realignments are expected following Raila Odinga’s death an event that has reshaped Kenya’s political landscape and opened room for new alliances.
