Kalonzo's Surprise Choice Of Top Tycoon As Running Mate That Could Help Him Thrash Ruto In 2027

Amid the quick movement of the political tectonic plates in the country heading to the 2027 general election, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is seen as President William Ruto's biggest threat in his re-election bid.

With ODM party leader Raila Odinga seemingly exiting local politics after three decades of dominance, the former Vice President has been given the opportunity to run the show.

In his bid for a second term in office, Dr Ruto is most likely going to face a rejuvenated Kalonzo.

If he plays his cards well, the Wiper boss has a chance to become Kenya's sixth President. But this will depend on his choice of a running mate.

A running mate can make or break kalonzo's ambitious State House journey.

Currently, the Mount Kenya region seems to be courting Kalonzo with a bid to support his State House bid. If this happens, it is very likely that his running mate will be from this populous bloc. But who could it be?

At one point, there was speculation that former President Uhuru Kenyatta's younger brother Muhoho Kenyatta would consider running for President.

But with no political experience, he may drop out of the race and settle as Kalonzo's running mate.

With full knowledge that it takes money to win a election, then Kalonzo may settle on the tycoon businessman as a running mate. And yes, this ticket can easily thrash Ruto on the ballot.
