Gloves Off As Wilson Sossion Exposes Gachagua And Wamalwa, Sends Bad News To Their Supportes

Former Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Secretary-General Wilson Sossion has criticized emerging opposition alliances, warning that coalitions formed out of hostility rather than shared vision are bound to fail.

Sossion pointed to the growing friction between the Democracy For Citizens Party (DCP) and the Democratic Action Party of Kenya (DAP-K) as an example of how disunity and internal rivalry weaken political movements before they gain traction.

He said that genuine alliances must be grounded in clear policy goals, a unifying ideology, and a commitment to addressing citizens’ needs rather than short-term political gains.

Sossion noted that the ongoing disputes over upcoming by-elections among opposition parties demonstrate a lack of strategic planning and mutual trust.

Political analysts have echoed his sentiments, observing that Kenya’s political scene is increasingly dominated by personality-driven coalitions instead of issue-based politics.

Sossion’s remarks serve as a cautionary message to emerging political groups to prioritize unity of purpose and coherent policy agendas if they hope to challenge established parties in future elections, to read more click here.
