"Give Us A Break" Francis Atwoli Reacts As Uhuru Kenyatta Criticizes President Ruto's Administration


COTU Secretary General, Francis Atwoli has urged former President Uhuru Kenyatta to keep off politics stating that his remarks will chase investors away from Kenya.

Sources have confirmed that the former President criticized the current administration claiming that the security forces structured to protect Kenyans were being used against the people.

The Former President also said Kenya’s progress has been eroded, with gains of Jubilee era undone; accuses current administration of running ‘untried and untested’ experiments. 

He mentioned the likes of Linda Mama that was immediately replaced by SHA.

Uhuru Kenyatta: In security, despite initial challenges, we restructured our security organs and strengthened an inter-agency approach.

His remarks caught the attention of several politicians who are allied to President William Ruto, who took to different social media platforms to call him out wanting the former President to keep off politics.

COTU Secretary General, Francis Atwoli who spoke 2 Days after Uhuru made these remarks urged the former President along with the members of the opposition to give Kenyans a break, wait for the 2027 Presidential elections in Kenya, stating that Kenyan workers are going to suffer if these politicians keep attacking the government.
