PLP leader Martha Karua has complained about the scenes witnessed during former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's funeral ceremony.
Karua says opposition figures were blocked from speaking, to deny room for divergent views about President William Ruto's union with Raila.
According to her, all who spoke only praised the union, an attempt by Ruto to score political goals out of Raila's death.
"They were trying to make political capital out of it and that is why there was no room for divergent opinions," she said on Spice FM on Tuesday.
She termed this the reason why she personally wasn't allowed to address the crowd.
She has also raised questions Ruto's sudden attitude towards Raila, noticing that since his death, he has been claiming to have shared ideologies with him, which was never the case.
"If you listen to Dr. William Ruto, you would think that he and the late Raila Odinga shared a lot in common but absolutely not, because he stands for something totally different."
