In an interview with media personality Alex Mwakideu, a short video clip shared on Instagram showed Wilbroda making bold statements that quickly divided opinion among Kenyans.
She said she does not believe in the existence of heaven or hell, describing her faith as a personal journey.
“I don’t believe there is a heaven or hell. This is my truth,” she remarked, while emphasizing that she still believes in a higher power she refers to as her God.
According to her, people create their own heaven and hell based on how they live here on earth.
Wilbroda explained further that she tries to live a good life by treating people well and caring for the environment around her.
She added that when she dies, she hopes to leave a legacy of kindness, rather than waiting for an afterlife reward.
When asked if she believes God created heaven and earth, the actress gave a controversial answer, saying she does not believe in an afterlife.
“When you die, you die,” she stated, dismissing the idea of reuniting with loved ones after death.
Her remarks sparked strong reactions. Some fans applauded her honesty, saying she had spoken openly about what many secretly think.
Others, however, strongly disagreed, reminding her that Christian faith teaches about life after death. Online comments ranged from praise for her boldness to criticism that she was misleading people.
Beyond her spiritual views, Wilbroda also touched on her personal life. She revealed that one of the biggest challenges in her past marriage was constant interference from relatives who frequently visited her home.
She admitted this strained her relationship and eventually played a role in the breakup. From that experience, she says she has now learned to set boundaries.

Life is sacred. When we die we turn into spirits. Spirits belong to God of the universe, so there is life after death. There is transformation to another life.
