President William Ruto will soon come face to face with the anger of Kenyans unhappy with how he is running the country, former Mukurweini Member of has said.
He is among the prominent people from the Mt Kenya region who have been criticizing Ruto, and is now accusing him of presiding over graft and a government characterized by looting of public funds.
For Kabando, Ruto might not get to finish his term in office, predicting a situation where Kenyans will come together to peacefully reject his leadership in the coming days, which he says is now inevitable.
"President Ruto: you make democracy to flop by sabotaging constitutionalism and the rule of law through abetting gluttonous looting of Kenya by your allies. Rais you're making a nonviolent revolution against you inevitable. A Tornado wave - Niger, Burkina Faso, Gabon beckons," he says on X.
For the former Assistant Minister, the said corruption is led by people closest to Ruto, saying that if the law were to be followed, 90 percent of his Cabinet Secretaries would end up in jail.
For him, this has been made possible by the fact that Ruto has seized the bodies that should be fighting graft, with only the Judiciary remaining independent.
"While we respect and the rule of law, it is clear that only one constitutional agency, judiciary remains vanguard to constitutional fidelity. Others like DPP, EACC and DCI are rotting in Ruto's armpit. Otherwise, 90% of Ruto's cabinet should be rotting in jail over graft."
