Khalwale Launches Fresh Attacks On Raila, Slams Him For Enjoying Both The Govt And The Opposition

Senator Boni Khalwale is saying that Raila Odinga shouldn't be doing two things at once in politics.

He thinks Raila shouldn't be part of both the government and the opposition at the same time. This is because it's confusing.

Khalwale believes that people in politics should be clear about what they're doing.

He says Raila, who leads the ODM party, shouldn't be trying to be friends with the government while also criticizing it.

This makes it hard for people to know what's really going on.

He thinks that if Raila is seen as part of the government, his criticisms might not be taken seriously.

And if he's part of the opposition, it might seem like he's not being honest with his supporters if he's also talking to the government.

Khalwale thinks this messes up how democracy should work, where there's a clear difference between who's in charge and who's watching them.

Also, things are changing quickly in Kenyan politics right now. Khalwale wants Raila to pick a side: either support the government led by President William Ruto or go against it.

He says this will help people trust their leaders and make sure they're doing the right thing.

So, Khalwale is saying that Raila needs to be clear about his role. He wants to make sure that politicians are honest and do what they say they will do.

This, he believes, will make the country's democracy stronger and fairer for everyone.
