"I Told You Gachagua Is Delusional" Kaluma Mocks Gachagua, Pours Cold Water On His Presidential Bid

Member of Parliament Peter Kaluma has made strong remarks about Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

Kaluma said that someone should inform Senior Counsels Kalonzo Musyoka, Martha Karua, and Eugene Wamalwa that Gachagua has announced he wants to run for President in the 2027 general election.

Kaluma reacted by saying that Gachagua is "delusional," meaning he is living in dreams and not in reality.

According to Kaluma, Gachagua does not seem to understand that he has already been impeached.

He added that Gachagua also does not understand the legal consequences that come with impeachment.

Kaluma said that once someone is impeached, they are removed from their official position because they have been found guilty of serious wrongdoing.

He explained that the law is very clear that a person who has been impeached cannot hold any public office again, including running for the presidency.

Peter Kaluma said it is shocking that Gachagua still believes he can campaign and win an election.

He warned that the former Deputy President needs to understand the law before making such big plans.

Kaluma said that Gachagua’s announcement shows he is not serious about the reality of his situation.

The comments from Kaluma have started a lot of discussion among Kenyans online.

Some people agree with Kaluma and say that Gachagua is wasting his time thinking he can run for President after impeachment.

Others believe that Gachagua still has strong support and that the matter is not yet over.

Kaluma has been one of the loud voices criticizing Gachagua in recent months. He says leaders must respect the law and stop confusing Kenyans with false hopes.

According to Kaluma, the country needs leaders who are honest, knowledgeable, and ready to follow the Constitution without playing games.

The debate about Gachagua’s political future is growing, and many are waiting to see what legal experts and the courts will say about his ability to run for office in 2027.
