Former MP Ngunjiri Reacts As Rigathi's Candidate Withdraws From This Race After Statehouse Meeting

Former Nyeri County member of parliament, Honorable Ngunjiri Wambugu has mocked the Democratic for Citizens Party ager its candidate in the Banisa By-elections stepped down after a meeting at Statehouse.

Sources have confirmed that Mr. Adan Mohamed alias Kiongozi had been unveiled by Gachagua as the party's candidate to succeed the late Honorable Kullow Maalim.

Mr. Adan later withdrew from the race after attending a meeting at Statehouse, a move that caught the attention of former MP Ngunjiri.

In a post on Facebook, the former MP demanded to know why the former deputy president of Kenya is not uplifting his party after cutting short his US trip claiming that he was coming back to Kenya to lead his party.

He also dismissed reports claiming that the former deputy president of Kenya is going to run for Presidency in the 2027 Presidential elections in Kenya.

Speaking in church, Rigathi Gachagua called upon Kenyans to vote for him as their President in the upcoming general elections in Kenya stating that he is going to restore the country to where the late President Mwai Kibaki left it.

He also criticized the government of President William Ruto for allegedly lying to Kenyans, killing Kenyans during the protests against the proposed 2024 finance bill.

Wambugu Ngunjiri who immediately took to his different social media platforms to speak on this stated that Mr Rigathi Gachagua is never going to run for any public office until his impeachment is overturned by a court of law.
