DCI Finally Reveals Who Hired and Paid a Taxi Driver to Secretly Dump a Lady’s Body In Town

Detectives in Murang’a County are currently probing a disturbing case in which a taxi driver unknowingly transported the body of a woman disguised as ordinary luggage. 

The incident has shocked residents and shed light on the growing problem of family-related violence in the region.

According to preliminary investigations, the driver, who normally operates between Makomboki market and Kangari town, was approached by a middle-aged man wearing a hood. 

The man carried what appeared to be a parcel and instructed the driver to deliver it to a contact waiting in Kangari. 

The driver agreed after being promised a small payment for the job. He then placed the parcel in his vehicle and began his journey to the destination.

However, upon arrival, the driver was surprised to find no one waiting to collect the supposed parcel. Efforts to reach the sender or the alleged recipient were unsuccessful, which made him suspicious. Acting on instinct, he decided to drive straight to Kangari Police Station and hand over the parcel to the authorities.

Police officers who opened the package were horrified to discover the body of a woman wrapped in blankets, clothes, and sacks. The victim was later identified as 53-year-old Hannah Wanjiku, a mother of six children. Reports indicate that Wanjiku had separated from her husband after experiencing prolonged domestic violence. She had since rented a small house in Njiiris village, where she worked as a casual laborer to support herself.

Detectives have since arrested four suspects in connection with the case. Among those in custody are Wanjiku’s estranged husband, two of her sons, and the taxi driver, who remains under investigation as police try to establish whether he was an accomplice or an innocent participant.

Wanjiku’s body has been transferred to Githumu Hospital mortuary, where a postmortem examination will be conducted. Meanwhile, forensic experts are gathering evidence to determine the exact circumstances surrounding her death and the events that led to the attempted disposal of her body.

Authorities have condemned the killing, describing it as a tragic reflection of rising family-related violence. They assured the public that justice will be served and that all those responsible for Wanjiku’s death will be held fully accountable.
