President William Ruto's Chief Economic Advisor David Ndii has once again weighed in on what he believes happened during the 2022 presidential election.
Ndii has said that while Ruto indeed won, it is because of weaknesses from the rival side, which had figures like then President Uhuru Kenyatta and Azimio La Umoja leader Raila Odinga.
He says that the Uhuru and Raila side underestimated Ruto and overestimated itself, helping Ruto sail through and beat the former Prime Minister, who was flying the Azimio flag.
He has denied that Uhuru was secretly working with Ruto while lying to Raila.
"Uhuru fixed Raila my foot. My 2019 prognosis of the handshake stands. “by having chosen to personalise a political crisis, Uhuru and Raila would seem to have overestimated their personal power and underestimated their adversaries” In short, Raila fixed himself," he said on X on Thursday.
This comes weeks after he claimed that so bad are things in the country that he wishes that they as Kenya Kwanza did not even win the presidency.
He said that the economy is ailing, after being messed up by Uhuru, and he is wishing that Raila won and was the one dealing with what Ruto is having to deal with right now.
''Now we become the falls guys for biting bullet. You don’t know how often I wish we lost the election to see the dynasty brothers wading in their mess,'' he said.
