Big Bro Kalonzo, You'll Not Be Opposition’s 2027 Candidate, If You Do You'll Lose; Stick To Ruto and Become President In 2032 - Mutahi Ngunyi

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has been advised that his chance of becoming Kenya’s president in 2032 depends on whether he chooses to align with President William Ruto.

Political commentator Mutahi Ngunyi gave the advice in a short message shared on his social platforms.

According to him, Kalonzo’s political future can only succeed if he changes his current approach.

Ngunyi laid out three points. First, he said Kalonzo is unlikely to be chosen as the main opposition candidate in 2027.

Second, even if he gets the ticket, he will not win the election. Third, his best option is to work with Ruto. He went further to predict that if Kalonzo makes that choice, he could ascend to the presidency in 2032.

This is not the first time Kalonzo has been urged to join forces with the government. In July, Energy Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi suggested that Kalonzo, Raila Odinga, and Ruto could eventually work together to address Kenya’s challenges.

Wandayi said that dialogue and cooperation would help the country find solutions to its political and economic problems.

However, Kalonzo has remained firm in rejecting any partnership with Ruto. Speaking at different events, the former Vice President has dismissed the idea of working with what he calls a “rogue regime.”

He insists he cannot join a government that, in his words, mistreats its people.

On June 30, Kalonzo stated that even Raila Odinga would not convince him to support Ruto’s administration.

He said his loyalty lies with ordinary citizens and that he would continue standing with them.

Kalonzo also accused Raila of betrayal, reminding Kenyans that he had supported Raila in three past elections only for Raila to later cooperate with Ruto.
The Wiper leader made it clear that if Raila eventually returns to the opposition, he must follow the queue. Kalonzo added that leadership in opposition cannot be handed out but must be earned.
