Battle Of Titans? Rigathi Sets The Stage For A Fierce 2027 Battle As He Prepares To Launch His Party

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has started a new political party. This has made a lot of noise in politics, especially in the Mount Kenya area.

People are now waiting to see what will happen next.

Gachagua has named the new party. He will launch it officially on June fifth. The party colours are green, brown and black. The symbol is a tractor plough.

The logo shows a hand touching an ear. This means the party listens to the people. The slogan is Kazi na Haki which means Work and Justice.

He will lead the party together with other people like Mably Owino, Hussein Athman, Laura Njeri and others. The party office is at Riara Centre in Nairobi.

Gachagua’s close friend, Embakasi North MP James Gakuya, said they are not afraid of President William Ruto. He said they are ready to fight back because Ruto has been trying to take back some of their members.

Leaders from the opposition, like Kalonzo Musyoka, Martha Karua, Eugene Wamalwa, Fred Matiang’i and Mukhisa Kituyi, are expected to work with Gachagua. They want to unite and choose one strong person to fight Ruto in the year 2027 elections.

Each leader will take care of their area. Kalonzo will unite the Eastern region, Wamalwa and Governor Natembeya will take the Western region, and Gachagua and Karua will work in Mount Kenya.

Gachagua was removed from the Deputy President job and went back to his village in Mathira. From there, he has been meeting many leaders and planning his next move. He has promised to make Ruto only serve one term.

Some experts like Barrack Muluka said Gachagua must now build a strong group and act fast before someone else becomes the top opposition leader.

Another expert, Newton Mathange, said Gachagua is already the main opposition leader now.

Because he speaks for the people and gives other ideas to help Kenyans. Now, all eyes are on Gachagua to see if he can bring people together and fight against Ruto in 2027.
