Traffic Police Arrested Trying To Sell a Ksh 20K Phone He Stole From a Businesslady At a Pub

OLKALOU, Nyandarua County – A traffic officer in Olkalou has been arrested after he was caught trying to sell a smartphone he allegedly stole from a local businesswoman, an incident that has shocked the quiet town.

The case began on a busy evening at a local pub, where Maria, a well-known businesswoman, was socializing.

She struck up a conversation with a man named Mark, whose friendly demeanor quickly won her trust. Unbeknownst to her, Mark had a hidden agenda.

During the evening, Mark reportedly took Maria’s Samsung Galaxy A21S, valued at KSh 20,000, and left the venue without her noticing.

The next day, Maria discovered the phone was missing and immediately suspected Mark. She reported the matter to the Olkalou police station under report OB number 08/12/04/2026.

While officers initially expressed doubt, one officer, James, grew suspicious of Mark’s behavior. Following him discreetly, James observed Mark trying to sell the stolen phone at a busy bus terminus.
