My name is Margaret, a mother from Mukono, Uganda, and I want to share my story to give hope to parents who are struggling with children battling drug addiction. 

My son fell into bad company and started using drugs at a young age. 

At first, I thought it was just a phase, but it quickly became serious.We tried everything. I took him to rehabilitation not once, not twice, but five times. 

Each time, he would come back looking changed, but after a short while, he would relapse and go back to drugs. It broke my heart as a mother. 

I felt helpless, stressed, and almost gave up hope of ever seeing my son free from addiction.
