“Anyuola Wananimaliza, Remember I Have A Master’s Degree In Journalism But I Work As A Cleaner" – Jinja Man Painfully Shares

My name is Patrick, a man from Jinja, Uganda, and I want to share my story to encourage people who feel stuck in life despite being educated.

I worked very hard in school and successfully completed my Master’s degree in Journalism with the hope of building a good career and supporting my family.

I believed that my education would open doors for me, but things did not turn out the way I expected. After graduation, I applied for many jobs in media houses, NGOs, and companies, but I kept receiving rejections.

Some places never responded, while others shortlisted me but never selected me in the end. Months turned into years, and I remained jobless despite my qualifications.

Due to financial pressure, I was forced to take up a cleaning job just to survive and pay my basic needs, something that left me feeling frustrated and discouraged.A close friend later told.GET FULL STORY HERE.
