Speaking through his official X page on Wednesday, the 18th of March, the vocal politician and Lawyer has argued that the health of the Head of State is a matter of National importance.
"It is imperative that the state immediately discloses health status,of Mr. Ruto. The president’s health is a matter of urgent national concern." Stated the vocal Politician and Lawyer, Ndegwa Njiru.
The incident has sparked heated debate, with many people questioning the ethics of recording and sharing such content without consent.
Some social media users have condemned Opande’s actions, saying they violated privacy and professional standards expected of individuals, especially those working in sensitive sectors like healthcare.
Others, however, have argued that the consequences he is facing may be too harsh.
In his response, Opande has claimed that his dismissal was influenced by external pressure. He has accused Millie Odhiambo of being behind his job loss.
According to Opande, the legislator reported him to his employer in the United States and is allegedly pushing for further action, including possible deportation.
“I wonder why Millie Odhiambo reported me to my employer and is still pushing for my deportation,” Opande said in a statement shared online.
However, there has been no official response from the MP regarding these claims, leaving the matter unclear.
Meanwhile, Marion Naipei, who was at the center of the viral video, has reportedly taken steps to move on from the incident.
Reports indicate that she has joined a local church led by Victor Kanyari.
