'Siwezi Msaidia' Man Records Himself Ignoring Crying Girl Being Stung By Ants

A disturbing video shared on TikTok has triggered mixed reactions among Kenyans after a man filmed himself walking away from a young girl who was crying in pain, claiming he feared social misjudgment if he stepped in to help.

The man, known online as Inclined Benso, posted a clip showing a distressed little girl struggling as ants swarmed and stung her.

Despite her desperate cries, Benso calmly walked away, narrating why he chose not to intervene.

"Let me show you the sad reality of today’s world," Benso said in the video.

"See that child back there? I left her to be stung because people won’t understand that I was helping her. I could even be accused of defilement, so I can’t risk my freedom.”

He added in the caption: “I don’t want to find myself in a situation where only God knows I’m telling the truth.”

As the girl’s cries echoed in the background, Benso’s controversial choice sparked a digital firestorm, dividing opinions online.

Reactions from Kenyans

Some Kenyans sympathized with Benso, sharing their own fears of being wrongly accused. One user, Candice, recalled how two young girls once asked for food at her house.

“I gave them the last of my bread but started recording everything — just in case. I later found the bread left outside my door,” she said.

Willie Jones Preacher Music wrote:

“I left my neighbor’s child outside in the cold because I feared accusations. Her mother was late, but I didn’t want to risk it.”

Wariahe added:

“Even my daughter’s friends hugging me makes me uncomfortable. That’s the world we live in.”

However, others condemned Benso for prioritizing self-preservation over humanity.

Anne Qúi Teqúilla strongly criticized the mindset:

“Men always claim they’re victims. Yet they’re also often the perpetrators. You would rather let a child suffer?”

Hezbon offered a middle-ground solution:

“If you’re worried, get someone to record you helping. That way, you have proof.”
