"ODM Hired 150 Probox Vehicles With Goons Inside" Kasipul MP Aspirant Claims

Kasipul politics have erupted once again after parliamentary aspirant Ajo Mbuta gave a dramatic account of what he says unfolded during the recent ODM Party nominations.

Mbuta claimed that a coordinated group he referred to as special forces from Homa Bay County allegedly hired more than one hundred fifty Probox vehicles filled with hired gangs.

According to him, their objective was to manipulate the voting process and deny Boyd Were a fair outcome at the ballot.

Mbuta described the atmosphere as frightening and unpredictable.

He said that as the nomination exercise continued, unfamiliar groups began arriving in a steady flow, creating confusion among voters and agents.

He claimed the men stormed several polling centres, sparking confrontations that left residents terrified. In his narration, he added that he felt targeted and had to flee quickly after receiving word that his life could be in danger.

He insisted that the chaos was not accidental but planned to intimidate candidates and tilt the results.

His statement has since drawn public attention in Kasipul, with some residents demanding clarity from ODM officials on what truly happened that day.

Others have called for investigations to ensure that party primaries are conducted transparently and without interference.

Mbuta argued that such incidents undermine public trust in democratic processes and discourage genuine candidates from participating.

The tension comes at a sensitive moment since the constituency is preparing for a by election. The upcoming vote is expected to attract a lot of interest, and Mbuta believes the stakes are even higher now.

He urged security agencies to be alert and ensure that voters can participate without fear or intimidation. He also appealed to party leadership to guarantee a level playing field so that the will of the people prevails.

As Kasipul moves toward the by election, residents are watching closely, hoping that lessons from the chaotic nomination will lead to a more peaceful and credible contest.
