ODM Director of Communications Philip Etale has claimed that since President William Ruto took office, he has not been receiving any praise.

For the opposition figure, nobody ever praises Ruto for a job well done, and all he has been getting has been criticism and condemnations.

For him, this is the clearest indication that Ruto is not achieving anything, translating this to mean that the Head of State is a failure so far.

He has added that it is for the same reason that some are finding it better to mock Ruto rather that commend him for his achievement.

"You are a PRESIDENT and not a single person is commending you for doing a good job. Everyone is castigating you and some making fun about you. Then you are a failure," he said in a tweet on Saturday.

This comes at a time when Ruto is being blamed for the country's economic mess, and his government's inability to tame the high cost of living menace.

He has also been treated to mockery for claiming that judges are being bribed to reject his government's policies and development plans.

Among those kicking him is former Mukurweini Member of Parliament Kabando Wa Kabando, who is wondering what he seeks to achieve by complaining in funerals.

"Rais Ruto you aren't helpless! Instead of lamenting at funerals then waking up to reply threads on X, muster PRESIDENTIAL COURAGE to institute #StateCaptureInquiry. Implement #TJRC #Kroll reports. Adherence to CoK2010 is obligatory. Dare crash impunity, can you? WE truly doubt," the former Assistant Minister said on X on Tuesday.
