A young Luo man, Peter Otieno, has been left heartbroken after his long-term girlfriend, Jane Wanjiru, ended their relationship on the day she graduated from university.
Peter says he used most of his savings to pay Jane’s school fees, hoping they would one day get married and build a family together.
According to him, his parents had earlier warned him not to invest too much in the relationship, saying that true love should not be measured by financial support. However, he ignored their advice, believing that Jane truly loved him.
