Former Nyeri member of parliament, Honorable Ngunjiri Wambugu has revealed that he fell out with the former deputy president of Kenya, Honorable Rigathi Gachagua who allegedly wanted the whole of Mount Kenya to have one party.
The renowned politician who was speaking during an interview on Kameme Fm explained that Mr Rigathi Gachagua wanted to set up a party that would dismiss any politician who opposed their policies.
Honorable Ngunjiri Wambugu :"Rigathi wanted the whole of Mount Kenya to have one party, the DCP. He wanted to get rid of the other parties In Mount Kenya and that is where I fell out with him because I am a member of Jubilee, so telling me to leave Jubilee and join a party that is not yet strong, with no direction is something I couldn't agree with ".
It is to be noted that Honorable Ngunjiri worked for Mr Rigathi Gachagua for several months before he started criticizing him in public, a move that caught the attention of several Kenyans who took to their different social media platforms to speak on this, they urged the former MP to speak up, reveal why he does not support Rigathi Gachagua.
Honorable Ngunjiri also dismissed reports claiming that Rigathi Gachagua will be running for Presidency in the 2027 Presidential elections in Kenya.
In a post on Facebook, Honorable Ngunjiri affirmed that Mr Rigathi is never going to run for any public office until his impeachment is overturned by a Court of law. He made this statement after Mr Rigathi Gachagua revealed his intention to run for Presidency in the upcoming general elections where he promised to restore the country to where the late President Mwai Kibaki left it if elected.
