President William Ruto has emphasized that his government is delivering on the promises he made to Kenyans after assuming the office in 2022.
Speaking during economic empowerment at State House, the Head of State noted that despite facing enormous pressure from opposition parties, he said will not be intimidated by their campaigns suggesting he will serve only one term.
“They are trying to intimidate us with one-term campaigns. I am telling them that we will not be swayed by such threats. We are committed to transforming our country,” President Ruto said.
Challenging the opposition, Dr Ruto said the government is focused on transforming the nation and not engaging in divisive politics by the opposition outfit led by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka among others.
He urged the opposition to present their plan for Kenyans ahead of the 2027 elections instead of spreading hatred and tribal divisions.
“We will unite this nation through an inclusive government that accommodates everyone. A government that brings Kenyans together is the one that will move this country forward, and that is the future of our nation,” the President said.
