RIP: Beautiful Photo of Bungoma Woman Who Collapsed and Died While on Romantic Date with Boyfriend

A young man from Kimilili, Bungoma County, is struggling to come to terms with the sudden death of his girlfriend, Edith Nanjala Ajuma, who passed away under heartbreaking circumstances after a romantic outing.

According to her boyfriend, Emmanuel Makokha, the two had gone for a walk when tragedy struck.

He said that while they were taking a stroll, Nanjala slipped and fell.

When she tried to get up, she fell again, hurting her arm and dislocating her leg.

Makokha said they rushed to a nearby dispensary for first aid, where Nanjala was treated and given medicine.

She was later referred to a sub-county hospital after her condition worsened.

The 23-year-old, who had a nine-month-old baby, insisted on staying in the ward with her child despite nurses warning that the baby’s health could be at risk.

Later, her health began to decline rapidly. Makokha recounted that Nanjala suddenly became silent and could no longer speak, only staring without uttering a word.

Doctors advised that she undergo a CT scan to check for possible brain damage, but no issues were found, and she still remained speechless.

The doctors later transferred her to the county hospital for further treatment, but she died shortly after arrival.

A postmortem is yet to be conducted to determine the cause of death.

Devastated by the loss, Makokha said he is still in shock and has not recovered from the pain.

The family is now seeking financial help to clear hospital bills and give Nanjala a decent farewell.
