A Delegation Of Luhya Leaders Led By CS Oparanya Delivers Bulls To Jirongo's Family In Lumakanda

CS Wycliffe Oparanya on Monday afternoon led a delegation of prominent Luhya leaders to the home of the late former Lugari MP, Cyrus Jirongo, in Lumakanda.

The visit was a gesture of condolence and solidarity following the passing of the veteran politician.

During visit, CS Oparanya presented a herd of cattle to the Jirongo family as token of respect, support.

The gesture, which has been warmly received by the family and local community, reflects the deep admiration many hold for the late legislator’s contributions to national and regional development.

Taking to social media, Kakamega Woman Representative Elsie led tributes to Jirongo, highlighting the significance of the donation.

Jirongo's remains will be transported today Monday, December, 29th, from Kitale to Lugari, where the local community, friends, and supporters will have the opportunity to pay their respects before the burial ceremony.
