Speaking today during a rally in Bomet, the young girl faced President Ruto and addressed him amid tears. She introduced herself as Dora Chepchumba and encouraged President Ruto with an moving message.
"Mara Ruto must go, Mara Zakayo must go and many others that they use to despise you. Be steady, just listen to them with one ear and let it pass out through the other ear. Work hard. Be steady like King David. God has good plans for you, plans of peace and not evil" Young Dora Chepchumba said when loosely translated from Kalenjin.
The young girl went ahead to open up to President Ruto regarding her mother's struggles leaving the Head of State wiping tears
"Mama yangu anateseka" Dora Chepchumba told President Ruto who was spotted removing an handkerchief and wiping tears.
President Ruto engaged in a private conversation with the young girl away from the microphone and was spotted wiping his as well as the young girls' tears.
He revealed that the young girl had moved him with her speech before promising to honour what the young girl had requested him.
