Senator Methu Claims How Ruto Tried to Buy Him Off Gachagua's Camp by Offering a Tempting CS Deal

John Methu, Senator for Nyandarua, has let the cat out of the bag about the desperate attempts made by President William Ruto to recruit political leaders affiliated with DCP.

According to Methu, he was offered the position of a cabinet secretary and Ksh 400 million bribe if only he would leave Gachagua's camp.

During his recent interview with Kameme FM Breakfast Show, Senator Methu accused President Ruto of sending one of his representatives from their church to negotiate with him.

He was told that he would be appointed Cabinet Secretary for either Water or Agriculture or would be paid a bribe of Ksh 400 million to break ties with DCP.

Methu says he refused the tempting offer, although he had to pay a huge price for doing so.

He alleges that the money in his bank account was frozen and he has not received his salary for six to seven months now.
