On Thursday, September 18, the Jubilee Deputy Organizing Secretary and popular blogger trended widely on social media, with rumours swirling that she had allegedly snatched someone’s husband.
The gossip began earlier this week following Pauline’s lavish 40th birthday celebration, where she posted photos from the event. Among them were pictures of a handsome, middle-aged man, with some images capturing the two sharing a kiss.
Hawk-eyed netizens and gossip blogs, often referred to as “tea masters,” later unearthed older, undated photos of the same man in the company of another woman, alleged to be his wife.
This sparked speculation that Pauline had been romantically involved with a married man, with claims quickly spreading across various online platforms.
However, Pauline took to social media on Friday morning, September 19, to clear the air. In the post, she denied any involvement in breaking up a marriage.
“Since the tea masters have decided to make me the subject on these streets, let me make somethings clear. I did not break up any marriage,” she wrote.
She explained that the man in question was not taken from another woman and that she was not responsible for ending any relationship.
“Life happens. Sometimes two good people meet, try to build something together, and along the way it doesn’t work out. They part ways, move on, and later meet other people with whom they start new chapters,” she clarified.
Pauline also criticized those spreading falsehoods, calling out the “ridiculous” claims and accusing some of dragging in innocent children and parents to push a false narrative.
